7th and 8th Grade Concert Band

The Concert Bands at Farwell Area Schools are meant to provide our students with a wide variety of performance opportunities as a part of large and small ensembles as well as individuals.

7th Grade Concert Band

7th Grade Students

This group is in their first year as a full Concert Band. This means they have fuller instrumentation and a different concert schedule.

They will continue performing in the December and May Concerts.

They will also be performing in the homecoming parade. They will also be performing at the February Band Festival Concert held in our very own Jaime Performing Arts Center.
This group is comprised of 9th-12th graders mostly and performs at our home varsity football games, as well as taking part in various Marching Band Reviews and Competitions around Michigan.

8th Grade Concert Band

8th Grade Students
(Maybe some 9th-12th Grade Independent Music Study Students as well)

This group is in their second year as a full Concert Band. This means they have fuller instrumentation and a different concert schedule.

They will continue performing in the December and May Concerts.

They will also be marching in the homecoming parade. They will also be performing at the February Band Festival Concert held in our very own Jaime Performing Arts Center.

New to their schedule will be the Homecoming football game during which they will join with the Marching Band for that evening. Then they will also march in the Memorial Day Ceremonies with the Marching Band. The other new performance will be that they will perform at Farwell High School Graduation in the spring along with the Symphonic Band students.

Pep Band

The 8th grade students are invited to come join the older students at any of our Pep Band Events.
