As we wrap up one year of learning and go into summer I leave you with this thought....
Seth Godin writes a tremendous blog post and ends it with this.... "That’s how we learn most of the foundational things that we know, remember and care about–not through exposure, but through effort and failure. That’s why tests aren’t nearly as useful as projects. As you well know the 8th-12th Grade Band Students will be performing at this event. Percussion students need to report to the field no later than Noon - This will give you time to set up and move percussion equipment. Woodwinds and Brass students need to be in their seats no later than 12:30 Graduations usually runs about an hour to an hour and a half. Bring clear water bottles and lots of sun screen! It's going to be a sunny day! |
