This is fresh fruit right from Florida to your house! It's going to taste amazing! Send me an email or send money in with a band student to the band room! We are once again taking some of our outstanding student musicians down to experience the Brass Band of Battle Creek. There are limited spots available. Only students who are playing at the top of their class will even be considered. The goal is to give our students the chance to experience rehearsals from 11-4 on Friday and also to attend the concert Saturday night at Kellog Auditorium. We will be visiting Guitar Center and the Mall in Kalamazoo. There are two options for activities Saturday - The Kalamazoo River Valley Museum is free and/or the Air and Space Zoo is $15. We are looking for several adults to volunteer to drive and chaperone this trip as well. Of course you have to pass a background check and be one of those types who love being with the outstanding students of Farwell Bands! The trip is Friday December 6 and Saturday December 7. Students will be missing a full day of school. Cost - $35 towards the cost of the Concert Ticket and Hotel. Money for lunch and supper Friday and Saturday. Breakfast on Saturday will be at the hotel. If you are interested in helping drive contact Mr. Shimmons at the school or through Remind.
Band Boosters are working hard on raising money to replace our aging Timpani that have been at the schools since the early 60’s. They are wearing out and are in dire need of replacement.
W are selling fruit straight from the Florida Citrus Groves to your counter! We have two weekends and one full week to sell the fruit. Money and orders need to be turned in Nov. 11. The goal is for every student to sell at least 5 cases of fruit! |
