This year will be the 25th time Band Boosters has presented their annual Cabin Fever Variety Show! Can you believe it! Man, time flies when you are having fun!
The show this year is February 11 at 6:30 PM in the Jaime Performing Arts Center. Speaking of having fun.... how would you like to be able to put your very own, personal message into the program this year?! Turns out you can! Cost is a measly $5 for two lines! I was was able to attend two weeks of this camp last year and I can attest to the brilliant instructors and directors Mr. Herter hires to teach our kids at the camp! Ask your kids about tuna cans and quarter horses vs half dollar horses! Kids should have brought home a camp brouchure with them today about the opportunity. Farwell Band Boosters are looking for some great performers for the 2017 Cabin Fever Variety Show on February 11! Singers, dancers, rock bands, comedians and anyone else interested needs to get in touch with Mr. Shimmons by sending an email to pshimmons a t gmail.com. DONT USE FACEBOOK MESSENGER.
We need to have interested people audition in December - either this Tuesday or next Tuesday. Students were SUPPOSED to bring home the form last week! Band Boosters are doing a TShirt order again! If you want one of these then print the form and return along with the $ by Nov 22. ![]()
WHITE TUX SHIRTS - Freshmen boys and older that need a white tux shirt need to bring in $18 NOW so we can get the uniform order in!
FUNDRAISER AT SURREY POINT November 11 - We need all 9th-12th grade band students/families to bake something for this Friday. We also need workers to go over to Surrey Poin gas station and pump gas/wash windows for tips. This will allow us to raise more money to help cover the additional concert uniforms we need to get ordered as well as money for replacing old instruments. Of course we just plain need to add MORE instruments as I've had to turn away several students who we just don't have an instrument for them to play! NOTEFLIGHT - 9th-12th grade students will be starting their music composition projects this week. We will be using Noteflight this year for these assignments. Each student needs to bring in $2 so they can have access to our NoteFlight account. This gives them full access to what cost $500 just a few years ago! MARCHING BAND PICTURES - Marching Band students that want pictures from this season should have already brought home a picture form/envelope. Money needs to be turned in on this Friday! |
